What Parents Can Do !!

There is something YOU can do to make your daughter's Girl Scout experience the best it can be for her!

You can offer to help her troop! Whether it is once a week, once in a while or whenever you can offer assistance,

your daughter's leaders need and appreciate your help.

You might be able to:

  • Pay the $10 GSUSA membership fee on time.

  • Complete all paper work in a timely fashion.

  • Help your daughter earn and pay her dues.

  • Pick your daughter up promptly after troop meetings.

  • Volunteer to be the troops Cookie or Nut Sale Manager.

  • Encourage your daughter by showing pride in her accomplishments.

  • Serve on a the troop committee, to make phone calls, transport girls, send refreshments, do paperwork, help at events.

  • Keep informed.

  • Remember that your daughter's leader is volunteering her time. Be thankful and helpful.

  • Remember that Leader's Day is April 22nd.

If every parent helps in some way, your daughter and the other girls in the troop will reap the benefits.

Help make Girl Scouts the place Where Girls Grow Strong - call your troop leader today and offer to help.

It will be fun!
