Pet Supply Drive

Clark, Garwood & Winfield Girl Scout Troop 1415, a member of Girl Scouts of Washington Rock Council finished earning their Bronze Award by organizing a “Pet Supply Drive” at St. John the Apostle School and Church in Clark, NJ.

The troop decided they would like to help animals in need to earn their award.  The girls made up and distributed flyers for all the students, decorated collection boxes, and notified parishioners thru the bulletin.  Dog/cat food, treats, toys, and bedding were some of the items collected and donated to the Linden Animal Shelter.

The girls delivered the supplies to the shelter and got to visit with the animals.

Congratulations to the 6th grade Girl Scouts and thanks for all your work in collecting the donations.
